Hey Everybody,

There is a lot going on this coming weekend as well as the next few weeks. So be sure to stay focused and up to date on how you can be involved with us! While Deleon may be coming to town and the Pow Wow will be in full sing, we’ll be going strong in the midst of it all.

First on the list is FBC’s 5th Quarter Friday night after the game until midnight. There will be tons of food, games, fun, fellowship, door prizes, and more. Don’t miss out! Be sure to bring a friend and get the word out. FBC boys will need to bring chips/dips and girls will need to bring drinks/sweets. We need adults willing to come help chaperone. Please contact me if interested and able. Any adults who want to help bring food are welcome to bring easy “finger foods” that kids can grab and go with. I’ll be at the youth building before the game for anyone who wants to bring items beforehand.

You may be tired and in need of rest, but what better way to revitalize yourself than to join us for worship Sunday morning at 9!? We’ll have a great time together followed by Sunday School at 10. Be sure to bring a Bible and a friend. In place of home groups Sunday night we are having our 4th Sunday service project. We will be meeting at the Park at 6 to help clean up after Pow Wow. Let’s be His hands and feet together! Your verse for the week is *Genesis 22:18; do we walk in obedience?

Next week is Global Week of Student Prayer. On Wednesday, the 26th, millions of students from around the world will be gathering together for prayer. Comanche students will be meeting at the Junior High at 7 a.m. and High School at 7:30 a.m. at their flag poles for See You at the Pole. Make plans to be a part! That evening, FBC will be hosting a Saw You at the Pole Service from 6 to 8 p.m. Students from churches in our community will join us as we represent the true body of Christ and lead together.

Last on the list is Fields of Faith. Before we know it, Oct. 10th will sneak up on us. That evening we will be at Gordon Wood Stadium in Brownwood with communities from all around. We are in the need of Comanche Adults to sign up as encouragers. Please contact me if willing and available.

-Thanks and God Bless,
